Much more info to be found here: http://www.timegatecon.org/

But, of immediate importance is the fact that May 6, 2011 is the pre-registration deadline for TimeGate 2011. If you want to still register for the $40 rate, Friday is your last chance! Head on over to http://www.timegatecon.org/memb.htm to get your membership in before the rate changes to the at-the-door rate of $50!

Sophie Aldred, who played Ace, companion to the Seventh Doctor, and Mike Dopud, who plays Varro from Stargate Universe, are the actor guests for the Doctor Who and Stargate programming tracks. The con has three tracks of programming: one track for Doctor Who, one track for Stargate, and a third track titled Otherworlds that covers a wide range of interests from Sherlock Holmes to Disney and beyond. Timegate will also have live bands, a writer's workshop, gaming, video commentaries by fans and the guests, a masquerade, party battles, and so much more! Check out the schedule at http://www.timegatecon.org/schedule.htm for more info.

Please remember that the pre-reg memberships are available through May 6th for just $40!

2007 Stargate Fan Awards Voting Open!

Stargate Fan Awards Voting Open!
[permission to forward]

It's finally time! Voting is now open for the Stargate Fan Awards. You
can vote for your favorites until March 3, 2008 at
http://www.stargatefanawards.com/2007/index.php .

Yes, we're a little – okay, a lot – behind schedule, but we think the
delay is worth it and we believe you'll appreciate the final product,
too.

As in the past, anyone can view the nominated works, however, in order
to vote, you must create an account and log in. You can register for
an account at http://www.stargatefanawards.com/2007/captcha.php .

NOTE: You may already have an account on our main site if you
nominated works or have created an account there. Unfortunately, you
MUST create a new account on our voting site. Only this year's
nominees have current accounts and they can log in using their existing
account information. We apologize for this inconvenience and hope to
fix this issue before the next awards' year.

Your account will keep track of your votes. You may log in at any time
to see in what categories and for whom you have voted. Not only that
but, should you change your mind, you can modify your votes as many
times as you wish up until the closing date of March 3, 2008. Please
rest assured that we will not divulge your email address to anyone.
We adhere to a strict privacy policy.

For nominees, we have a special icon that you can place next to your
nominated work(s) on any website to let folks know that you are
nominated for an award. We will have these icons available within the
next few days. Please check the home page at
http://www.stargatefanawards.com/2007/index.php . We'll let you know
when we post these icons.

This year, we have nearly 2400 nominations, embracing the SG-1 and
Atlantis fandoms and encompassing both fan fiction and multimedia. So,
if you're ready to settle down to read fan fiction, view fan art, or
sit back and watch fan music videos, then head on over to
http://www.stargatefanawards.com/2007/index.php .

We wish to extend a heartfelt thank you to all of you for your ongoing
patience and support. As always, it's been quite a learning curve for
all of the team.

Best of luck to the nominees and happy voting!

Yet another new community...

I checked the rules and I think this is OK, but if not, feel free to delete.

Yes, that's right, another new community to be pimped. Come on over and check out pilotgasm, where we'll be drooling, discussing, ficcing, iconing, and whatever else y'all can think of about fictional pilots in any fandom. It's still really new, so there's not much there yet, but the more people who sign up, the more stuff there will be, right?

Thanks for your time.
